Brittany & Izzy’s Howey Mansion Wedding Reception was full of magic from start to finish.
Are you both a Disney and Harry Potter fan? Brittany and Izzy planned the best of both worlds for their wedding day and after a very magical Walt Disney World EPCOT ceremony at 6am that morning, they had an amazing Harry Potter themed reception at the Howey Mansion in Howey-in-the-hills Florida.

The Howey Mansion is the perfect spot to have Harry Potter touches. It is STUNNING with that old world charm just like we all imagine Hogwarts would have. The rolling front lawn and the vines crawling up the exterior are the perfect backdrop for romantic portraits.
The foyer in the mansion is the perfect spot for some grand photos on the stair case.
Howey Mansion Wedding Reception in the Fountain Courtyard
The Howey Mansion has a beautiful back terrace for you to host your reception, with Mediterranean vibes with a gorgeous rustic appeal. It is so romantic.
Brittany & Izzy had subtle Harry Potter decorations that let the guests know they were stepping into the bride and grooms Harry Potter world. Stephanie from Astonishing events did such a beautiful job decorating the space! Each guest received a chocolate frog on their plate that the bride hand made herself. Such a cute personal touch!
The back terrace is a beautiful spot to enjoy your meal and your loved ones as the sun goes down.
I love the balcony at the Howey Mansion and the views of the back terrace it provides.
Howey Mansion Ballroom Grand Entrances and First Dance
The best Harry Potter touch they had was their entrances and first dance. The Bridesmaids came in like the Beauxbatons and the Groomsmen came in like the Durmstrangs. The bride and groom danced the waltz from the yule ball from Goblet of Fire PERFECTLY and left everyone speechless. It was amazing.
Cake Cut
There is this perfect little arch way in the back terrace that is the perfect spot for the cake. Brittany & Izzy had a three tierd masterpiece that housed the golden snitch and they were so adorable cutting into it.
Howey Mansion Balcony at Golden Hour
Of course my favorite part of the night was their golden hour portrait session. The lighting was stunning and the Howey Mansion is the perfect back drop for dreamy sunset photos.
Howey Mansion Prohibition Vault
A total unique feature at the Howey Mansion is the Prohibition Vault in the basement. Brittany and Izzy snuck away from their party to have a little whiskey tasting and their reactions to the drinks were priceless.

Of course all the guests danced the night away till they were too tired from the 6am Disney ceremony.
Brittany and Izzy finished their night with a private dance and that was so touching and romantic.
If was the perfect evening full of laughter, heart felt speeches, Harry Potter fandom, Taylor Swift and love.
